What does the Knoxville-area senior care directory include?

Where does the directory's information come from?

Only from official bulk sources: HFC's October 2026 bed reports, HFC's facility listings, HFC's monthly Facility Action and Abuse Reports, and CMS's Provider Information file; nothing comes from operators' marketing, review sites or paid placements.

Each listing page closes with a source line giving the data date. Every licensed ACLF and every CMS-certified nursing home has a profile page; homes for the aged, home health agencies and hospices appear as roster rows.

How do the sort and filter controls work?

Every listing page has a search box plus county, city and license-type filters (and a CMS-rating filter on the nursing home list); click any column heading to sort, for example to show Maryville ACLFs by secured beds or Knox County nursing homes by rating.

Why are some state survey dates older than 15 months?

The survey date shown is whatever HFC's public listing carries for that license; the ACLF rule calls for an unannounced inspection within 15 months, but the listing can lag, so an old date is a cue to ask for the latest report rather than proof of a missed visit.

Across the 57 licensed ACLFs in the seven counties the median listed survey is 38 months old at build time.
